The remake nobody reimburses
When the patient looks in the mirror and says “it doesn’t match,” nobody is paying for the second one but you. The lab fee again — $150–$300. Ninety minutes of chair time across a re-scan and a re-seat, at $400–$800 an hour of production you can’t sell to anyone else. A temporary that has to survive two more weeks. And a patient who now inspects every restoration you place at the nearest window.
Two of those in a year and you are past $1,200 — three times the pre-order price of the device that prevents them.
